It's that time again - where I look back at the month and facepalm about how lazy I've been!
I have a few excuses up my sleeve about why I haven't been exercising or training for the 4km HBF Run for a Reason, but really they aren't important - excuses get you nowhere fast.
So the main summary for March is, though I ran for the first half of the month, the latter part was a complete disaster due to health reasons (wisdom teeth surgery, dizzy spells, getting sick - oh look! excuses!).
When I was exercising I was doing really well. I was almost up to running 1km completely without stopping - and felt pretty good doing it too. The days of stopping, wheezing, feeling like my lungs are on fire are gone. Ahhh it feels good.
I would say, 50% success, probably 90% if I hadn't been so slack the second half of the month.
Hopefully once I feel well again, probably in a week if not shorter (please be shorter...) I'll be back to running.
Stay safe guys,

March Challenge
We're already a week into March but I thought I would put my monthly challenge up anyway!
Coming up later on in the year is the HBF Run for a Reason, and both myself and my boyfriend have decided to compete! Now, we are both incredibly unfit and definitely need all the training we can get. I will be competing in the 4km run (as 12km just sounds like death), and my poor boyfriend is going to let the peer pressure get to him and sign up to the 12km.
So for this month my main aim is to train myself to be able to run 1km comfortably. At the moment I'm running about 700-800 metres struggling. Hopefully with consistent runs I can make my way to 1km!
The HBF run itself is going to be held on Sunday 24th of May, 2015. All the routes and start times are available on the site and all proceeds go towards a variety of health-related charities.
I'll let you guys know towards the end of March as to how I'm going with my goals of running 1km!

February's Challenge - Midmonth Update
Goal: Run 6 out of 7 days
Sooooo I have completely failed so far this month. At first I was determined to get out there and the idea seemed really great! But then I came to the realisation that I really don't like running, I find it boring and repetitive. Things that I find fun to do however is team sports. Working together and pushing yourself so your team wins.
As I have just changed a massive part of my schedule (that I will share with you soon), running daily seems like a bit of a stretch considering I wasn't even doing that when I had tonnes of free time.
So I am going to write off February's Challenge (sorry guys!).
For March I'll gather together my thoughts and ideas and try to come up with something a bit more basic and that I can definitely work on, as well as continuing to play social volleyball on Friday nights.

February's Challenge
With New Years resolutions generally beginning to fail at this point, I think its time I start to act on mine. Amongst get a good job and eat healthy, there's exericse (boooooo!).
Mostly to get fitter, but also to lose weight and get a smidgeon toned.
So! As we come into February I'm going to start my 'exercise routine'. I think it will mostly just be me getting up and going for a 'run' every day which will basically be me walking half of it.
But I will try.
So my personal challenge for February 2015 is to run 1km, 6 days a week for the entire month.
If you guys have any exercise routines that you love let me know!
